Excellence in Policing for Law Enforcement Leaders: In-Service Training for Mid-Managers

Project Purpose/Goal

Through funding from Motorola Solutions and the City of Seattle, Washington, the National Police Foundation is developing and executing an Excellence in Policing for Law Enforcement Leaders Training for Seattle Police Department (SPD) sergeants and lieutenants.

Study Method

The National Police Foundation is using expertise in training and technical assistance provision, and access to networks of law enforcement leaders and subject matter experts to develop and execute this training with the SPD. The National Police Foundation team will work with the SPD to identify session topics and agenda, secure speakers, design curriculum/content, coordinate speakers, facilitate logistics, plan Audio/Visual needs, supply handouts, and execute the session to ensure a successful Excellence in Policing Session.
