Crime Mapping & Analysis News includes articles by researchers and practitioners on the methods, technologies and tools that support innovation, data collection and evidence-based practices in law enforcement agencies.

This issue also includes articles on the new Public Safety Open Data Portal being developed by the Police Foundation, and an update on a series of free symposiums for law enforcement leaders on expanding crime analysis for greater effectiveness throughout their agencies.
