Police Foundation
publications are used worldwide in police training programs and in criminal
justice, law, and public policy programs at colleges and universities.
If you are interested
in reviewing a foundation publication for instructional purposes, please
follow the instructions below.
- Your request
for an review copy must be on the OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD of your college,
university, or training agency, and must include an authorized signature.
- Titles are
invoiced and shipped, and include a $5.00 postage and handling fee
for each title, for a 30-day approval period. A maximum of three titles
is permitted under this offer.
- If you furnish
the Communications Director with a copy of your bookstore's order
for a minimum of five or more copies (per title) within 30 days, your
invoice will be considered paid in full (on a per-title basis) and
the review copy is yours for desk use. If you decide not to adopt
a book for class use, you may either purchase it as invoiced or return
it in salable condition and your invoice will be canceled. Full payment
is required for all books returned in a condition unsuitable for resale.
Determination of salable condition is at the sole discretion of the
Communications Director. NOTE: In the event of canceled or unpaid
quantity orders, payment in full must be made by the person requesting
and receiving the review copy(ies).
- Please include
the name of the course, projected enrollment, and semester for each
examination copy you will be requesting.
- Please include
the full title and author(s) for each publication you are requesting.
