Police Foundation publications are used worldwide in police training programs and in criminal justice, law, and public policy programs at colleges and universities.

If you are interested in reviewing a foundation publication for instructional purposes, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Your request for an review copy must be on the OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD of your college, university, or training agency, and must include an authorized signature.

  2. Titles are invoiced and shipped, and include a $5.00 postage and handling fee for each title, for a 30-day approval period. A maximum of three titles is permitted under this offer.

  3. If you furnish the Communications Director with a copy of your bookstore's order for a minimum of five or more copies (per title) within 30 days, your invoice will be considered paid in full (on a per-title basis) and the review copy is yours for desk use. If you decide not to adopt a book for class use, you may either purchase it as invoiced or return it in salable condition and your invoice will be canceled. Full payment is required for all books returned in a condition unsuitable for resale. Determination of salable condition is at the sole discretion of the Communications Director. NOTE: In the event of canceled or unpaid quantity orders, payment in full must be made by the person requesting and receiving the review copy(ies).

  4. Please include the name of the course, projected enrollment, and semester for each examination copy you will be requesting.

  5. Please include the full title and author(s) for each publication you are requesting.
