David Weisburd, PhD

Senior Fellow

Dr. Weisburd is the Walter E. Meyer Professor of Law and Criminal Justice and director of the Institute of Criminology at the Hebrew University Law School in Jerusalem, and distinguished professor and director of the Center for Evidence Based Crime Policy at George Mason University in Virginia. He chairs the foundation’s research advisory committee, and is the coauthor of several Police Foundation reports. Dr. Weisburd received the Stockholm Prize in Criminology in 2010.
